First of all, I am a huge fan of Benefit products like I own a lot of them. This review is made because I also want to acknowledge MeMeMe cosmetics. Frankly speaking, for me, make-ups are not made to make girls beautiful or confident, they are made for girls to have an artistic side. I'm working as an educator for a part-time so in defense, I must look well because I'm facing people. Investing for a good product is fine and the word "invest" sometimes tell us that we must bring big amount of money out of our pocket (literally hehe). Since last month, I have tons of free time, so I surfed at the internet and discovered several good online shops the sell different brand of make-ups. And then eureka, I found about MeMeMe cosmetics. At first, I was hesitant to try this what they call "highlighter". I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS.
After reading several info about it, in my own words, I think highlighter is for you to create prominency. I was torn between MeMeMe Moonbeam and Benefit highbeam. The price of MeMeMe Moonbeam was only 350plus while Benefit is ofcourse, no need to ask- - thousand plus! I tried the cheaper one.
Here's what I found out:
1. It gives you dewy effect on the part you applied with (*applause to this one!)
2. It blends well
3. It gives me a LITTLE prominence look on my cheeks and below at my eyebrows
Overall, the product is worth the price. I'm not that satisfied with the definition it gives but after all, it's more than half the price of benefit. In a addition, maybe I haven't blended it well to my face so I didn't get the best definition. Anyways, I'm still a fan of this product but maybe next time I'll try the benefit high beam so I can give a true comparison. :)

Human Nature Purifying Facial Scrub
I chose this product because this is the only product that my mom bought for me and actually liking it. Well, my mom seldom buy beauty products for me. So why/how did I fall in love with this product? Let’s face it, we live in a very polluted place specifically here at Manila, Philippines and commuting has been part of my daily life. Pollution+commute= dirt on your face and sometimes my face couldn’t take it anymore and it starts to feel itchy.
So here are some of the best features of this product according to me:
1. Its scrubs are different. It’s harder but still it doesn’t hurt or clog to my pores.
2. The smell is irresistible. (maybe because i love strawberries!)
3. After washing, you feel clean and your face is smoother and softer!
4. It’s organic so you can rely that there are no harmful chemicals
i would totally purchase this product again. Aside from its low cost, you seldom use it because facial scrubs must be used only 2-3 times a week so why settle on something expensive when you can have something with a low cost and can manage to give what you need!
(Thanks for reading! If you want me to review any product please comment)
Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Products
I never had pimple problems since I was a kid until one summer back in April 2012…I HAD BREAK-OUTS!
The reason I must say is..I DON’T KNOW. Seriously, I don’t know why and how I had breakouts. Mom told me maybe I went to beach and the water is not that clean? Hmm I don’t really know. She also pointed out maybe I used this Korean Make-up and it wasn’t for my skin type. Or maybe the Lord of the pimples just landed on my face. Well of course just kidding.. I was really pissed off of my break-outs maybe because I can see people that have better skin and since I have a fair skin, it’s very visible if I have something on my face. Because of my break-outs, I learned how to spend money- - or in good words, I learned how to invest on good skin products and make-ups Lol!
I went to mall and went to different skin stores and then shooosh I landed at The Body Shop store. Okay, c’mon this store sells expensive stuffs (honestly speaking). So what do I remember about this store???Oh I know, since it opened, I never bought any single item from it because my allowance can’t afford it! Moving on, the store was on sale (yeah it was and i didn’t feel it either) so I tried to check some of their products. A salesman (take note: salesman) approached me if he could help me on something. I told him about my break-outs and what products can I use. He handed me the facial wash and I was reluctant to buy it so for the nth time (dialogue that I always to the salepersons at the Body shop) “Ah I see, thanks, I’ll just get back to this maybe next time”.
At home, I checked some of the product reviews and I found out that TEA TREE which is the main ingredient is good for pimples or scars. So I quickly rushed to the body shop and bought first the facial wash. So what happened after using it several times? Well, the scent of the facial wash is indeed tea tree and it has a cooling effect that is so relaxing but still going back to the question…IT DIDN’T REDUCE MY BREAK-OUTS.
Let me tell you something. In my personal experiences and opinion, if a person has a bad acne breakouts or problems, I don’t really think simple skin regimens will take those pimples away but you would really need a DERMATOLOGIST. The idea there is I think all the products that claim they can take away your pimples meant that they can maintain your face a pimple-free sanctuary. I had an acne-surg from my cousin who is a dermatologist and ever since then I used the tea tree facial wash and so far my face doesn’t suffer any breakouts anymore.
So why did I purchase the blemish fade night lotion? The answer is..NOTHING. Well it was stated that it can reduce the discoloration from your face and blemishes. I really don’t know if it is effective but whenever I put this every night, when I woke up the next day, my face is smoother and lighter. Hmm if between the two, I think the blemish fade night lotion is better than the facial wash. The lotion indeed has stronger smell oft he tea tree but I feel it has a lot of sense compared to the wash. Also, whenever I’m having small pimples at my cheeks due to dirt, I use the lotion and the next day, they were gone.
Question: Will I buy this product again? Naaah. I don’t think so. Maybe if I’m already rich I will then buy these products again XD
Hello World
Okay so I made this blog because I feel like I’m losing some years of my life and I’m fed up with my facebook and twitter. I want to have a different “me” in my blog world so I don’t really care if someone will read my blog or how many followers or reader can I have. I just want to express the things that I can’t express in my real life. Well I guess that is something most people do here. Express because cant’ express in real world. I also want to review the things that I love here that’s why it’s written in my tagline “Things that I love”.
To sum it up, this is just all bout express. express. share! Well I hope the world could be with me this time .
